About XKs:
The “About XKs” link provides a bit of information about our company and our web site.

My Account:
You don’t have to enter your account information to use our on-line store or to view the web site, but there are advantages to establishing an on-line account and becoming a “Member”: (1) Your information will be on file including your ordering history so you can review past purchases; (2) Members are eligible for special discounts offered only to Members; (3) You can become an e-mail subscriber and receive advanced notice of new and sale items (the e-mail list is optional even if you are a member); (4) There is no obligation. You can be a member even if you never purchase anything. Note: Your on-line account is different from your regular XKs account, the web site won’t “remember” you unless you establish you own on-line account even if you’ve been using our phone ordering system.

To set up your account, click the “My Account” link, second from the left on the top navigation bar. Fill out the form (If your mailing address and shipping address are the same you can click the check box instead of filling out the shipping address part of the form). The final part of the form asks for “Username” & “Password” (you choose these). That’s it.

My Shopping Cart:
You can click the “My Shopping Cart” link to check the items you’ve added to your order. (When you add an item to your shopping cart you have not made a purchase; you must complete your order form or “Check Out” to actually make a purchase. XKs Unlimited purchases are secure. For more information, click the “Security link”, far right on the top navigation bar.) On the My Shopping Cart screen you can: (1) Delete items form your order (Type a “0” in the quantity space and then click “Recalculate” or click the red “X” next to the quantity) (2) Change quantities (Type a different amount into the quantity space); (3) Recalculate (Use when you have deleted items or changed quantities); (4) Select a UPS shipping method; (5) Check Out (Click to complete your order); (6) Empty Basket (Removes all items from your shopping cart).

My Wish List:
The “My Wish List” link allows you to build your own “Custom Catalog” or “Wish List” of items you might like to purchase some time in the future. You can visit your Wish List/Custom Catalog and add items to your shopping cart when you choose. The items will remain in your Wish List/Custom Catalog until you remove them or purchase them.

Technical Info:
The “Technical Info” link provides a selection of diagrams and tech sheets that you can examine or print.

Order Printed Catalogs:
The “Order Printed Catalogs” link provides add-to-cart convenience for ordering our latest catalogs.

Contact XKs:
The “Contact XKs” link provides instant e-mail links to specific departments at XKs Unlimited, direct links to your sales representatives, and a “Feedback” link for your comments.

Security:
Our “Security” screen provides assurance to those reluctant to put their credit card information into cyber space. Check it out.

Search:
Our “Search” screen provides convenient on-site search options including searching by title, code & description (bear in mind that searches on a computer driven system can only search for information as listed in the database; for best results keep your search text brief).

Using XKs Unlimited’s on-line store:
We’ve made every effort to make our on-line store easy to use, and to resemble our printed catalog as much as conventional web site technology will allow. Please feel free to use our “Feedback Link” to offer comments (Click the “Contact XKs” link, second from the right on the top navigation bar, then click the “Feedback Link”). If our site is not meeting your needs, please let us know.

If you have our catalog, and/or know which part numbers you want to order, we suggest that you click the search link (second from the top on the left navigation bar). On the search screen you can type in the part number, click search, then add the item to your shopping cart. You will next see your order page; you can continue shopping by clicking the “Continue Shopping” link at the bottom of the page or you can complete your order. When you add an item to your shopping cart you have not made a purchase; you must complete your order form to actually make a purchase. XKs Unlimited purchases are secure (for more information click the “Security” link, far right on the top navigation bar).

If you don’t have our printed catalog but would like to receive one, click the “Order Printed Catalogs” link, second from the right on the top navigation bar.

You can use the on-line store without a catalog too. Click the “XKs Store” link, third from the top on the left navigation bar. You will be taken to the Categories screen. Each category features a small picture with the category listed just below the picture. You can click the picture or the text to go to the category of your choice. Example: If you choose “Exhaust” you will be taken to the “Exhaust” screen where you will be offered a choice of links leading to different applications. In this case there are two choices “General Exhaust” and “XJ Exhaust”. If you choose “General Exhaust” you will next be offered a choice of applications. If you choose “MK II, 340 Sedans” for example, you will be taken to a screen displaying a picture of MK II and 340 exhaust parts (much like our printed catalog) with part numbers and descriptions corresponding to the picture. You can add parts to your shopping cart from this screen. (Notice the string of links near the top of the page: Category/Exhaust/General Exhaust/MK II, 340 Sedans), this is the path you followed to the screen you’re now viewing. You can click on any of the links to return directly to the screen you had previously visited without backing through the screens in-between. So, if you wanted to go to the Cooling System category from the exhaust screen you would click the “Category” link then click the “Cooling” link.

What’s New:
The “What’s New” link provides a screen featuring new items and information about our favorite subject, Jaguars . . . and probably some other things too.

Cars For Sale:
This has always been one of the most visited screens on our site. We post customers’ cars for sale here. For a nominal fee we provide picture ads with a personal page featuring extended descriptions and large pictures. The “Cars for Sale” screen is also an indicator of the value, or at least the asking price, of specific models.

Clubs, Notices, Open House:
XKs Unlimited has long supported “Jaguar Clubs” worldwide and will continue to do so. We Include Jaguar Club calendar information here. In the near future we intend to expand this area of the site to allow users to post information and tech tips. We also post information and a sign-up sheet for our annual “Open House”, which many consider the best Jaguar event of the year.

Restoration:
XKs Unlimited has been in the restoration business for nearly 30 years. This part of the site gives the viewer a good look inside our shop and provides periodic updates of current restorations.

Vintage Racing:
Not just business, this is our passion. We’ve been involved with these cars long before they were “vintage”. We’ve prepared some very special cars for the track and have a good deal of experience in several classes.
